About the Course

This course is Session 1 in the Five Things to Get Right visit prep series, covering five high-impact areas institutions should be reviewing now—through disciplined, ongoing preparation rather than a last-minute checklist. Participants will focus on training continuity, aligning documentation to the criteria with traceability to exhibits, and avoiding common program list inconsistencies that can trigger preventable findings. Built for visit readiness, it also supports ongoing accreditation maintenance by helping teams stay in compliance between visits as operations evolve.

Meet Renee Pellom

Renee Pellom is a COE accreditation specialist and former executive team leader with 25 years of service to the Council, most recently serving as the executive lead over accreditation for all initial and reaffirmation visits for the Council. In that role, she oversaw and held responsibility for the accreditation reviews of more than 500 institutions and now helps schools translate COE expectations into clear, practical steps they can apply to their self-studies and ongoing compliance work.
